Legacy Foundation of Southeast Arizona’s Event & Retreat Centers Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening

The Legacy Foundation of Southeast Arizona (LFSAZ) marked a significant milestone last week with the grand opening of its newly completed Event and Retreat Centers, located on the Legacy Plaza campus in Sierra Vista. The occasion brought together community leaders, nonprofit partners, and residents to celebrate a project more than two decades in the making. The ceremony began with a traditional ribbon cutting hosted by Sky Islands Regional Partnership.

St. Patrick’s Day lunch at The Salvation Army

The Legacy Foundation of Southeast Arizona partnered once again with the The Salvation Army in Sierra Vista to host a special St. Patrick’s Day lunch for residents in need, continuing a tradition that began approximately eight years ago. While the Salvation Army provides lunch Monday through Friday for those facing food insecurity, Tuesday’s meal brought a festive twist, with green attire and a menu of corned beef and cabbage drawing a strong turnout.

A festive Mardi Gras celebration marked the completion of the Legacy Foundation of Southeast Arizona’s new Event & Retreat Centers. Community partners and leaders gathered together to get first glimpses of the new state-of-the-art meeting space and to celebrate its completion in Mardi Gras style.
